There aint nobody here... BUT US CHICKENS!

the walk to schoolShattered cement Rises to meet The open touch Of toes encased in rubberthe walk to school
These pleather soles Were last seasons rejections Much like the girl
Who scored them half off
Some days she smiles At passerbys In fear they would think her Rude otherwise
But most are spent Staring at weeds That get crushed underfoot And pulled from beds of more prized flowers
Her backpack Is heavy With unrefined thoughts And questions without answers
She drags it on wheels Every crack Sending

going straight to laughterTheir footsteps are more like sunshine then of citiesgoing straight to laughter
And through splayed fingers we watch that sun travel
across the sky
It leaves dapples on our cheeks and warmth in our palms
Being that we are so far from
civilization we shed our clothes
But even though the long grass itches our legs skipping passes time
And if that ball of fire burns our skin let it singe our smiles in place
There aint nobody here... BUT US CHICKENS!
Whats another day?
have a great day!

-When i'm asleep do i really remember how to fly?and forget how when i wake up?or i'm just dreaming i can fly?
-when you dream sometimes you remember.when you wake you always forget
-but that's not fair...
